BT 100 tests the resilience of pillows and other product filling materials (such as short fibers and filaments) in an automated manner, which ensures the reproducibility of the test and reduces the subjective influence of the operator.

  • testing method

    Fill a certain amount of sample into the test cylinder, the weight will automatically drop on top of the sample, and the sample will be compressed for a certain distance. Then the heavy hammer will be automatically lifted, and the test will be repeated for the preset number of cycles, usually 1000 times. The height of the sample in the compressed state and the height in the uncompressed state will be used to evaluate the resilience of the sample.

    Resilience performance: ER = (H2-H1) / (H0-H1) [%]

    Note:

    H0 is the height without heavy hammer after 1 weight application

    H1 is the height under the condition of heavy hammer after 1000 times of weighting

    H2 is the height without heavy hammer after 1000 times of weighting
